Spring/Summer Swimming Starts April 17th
The Spring/Summer club season officially kicks off Monday, April 17th, 2023. We will be running our organized team practices with Valpo Swim Club. Therefore you MUST register with Valpo Swim Club to be able to participate in an organized spring/summer swim. With the spring/summer season being a full club season, You will sign up as a green team member. Since this allows you total club access to practices, special events, and meets, we want to make sure that you understand that this will also require you to fill the volunteering, fundraising, and meet requirements for the spring/summer season (this only applies for spring/summer since it is a full season). The registration link is provided below. The practice schedule is already on the high school swim website through the end of school. Once school ends, we plan to offer multiple practices and distances a day and will be starting our summer lifting and conditioning program. Summer training will go to the beginning of school in August. Once school resumes in August, we will go into pre-season (Fall/Winter season for the club) and start preparing for the official high school season.
If you do not want to participate in organized summer swimming through the club but still want to get into the water, you are welcome to come to lap swim and open swim. The cost is only $5.00 per visit, or you can purchase a pass. Those times will be posted on all the Aquatic Center social media accounts and the Valparaiso Community Schools website under Valparaiso Aquatic Center.
