Practice Change Information 12-23-22 & 12-24-22

I wanted to update everyone on today's plans. We were given clearance from athletics that we could have practice starting no earlier than 11:00a and finish no later than 2:00p. 50% of the sports teams planned to go in, while the other 50% decided not to hold a practice. After reviewing all information and talking to the coaching staff and our captains, we will NOT hold practice today as scheduled from 12:00-4:00. As of me typing this, the temp readings are -33 degrees wind chills. I have received reports that the roads are pretty slick, with us still under a blizzard warning. I also have received communication from swimmers that they won't attend due to conditions even if we held practice.

NO PRACTICE TODAY 12-23-22

As we talked about the last few days, we will offer an optional practice tomorrow from 8:30 am-10:00a. This is not required and will not be held against anyone who does not attend. I know we did not plan on practice tomorrow, and we do not want to interrupt anyone's Christmas plans.

If you can not attend, we understand and will see you on the first practice back after Christmas break at 8:00 am on Monday the 26th. Again, my apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused. As I have said multiple times, I will always do what is in the best interest of our athletes.
